The original Yakiniku Jumbo was established in 1988 in the city of Edogawa, Tokyo. Since its establishment, it has gained recognition and a steady following by its customers for its use of only A5 Kuroge Wagyu - the highest rank of Japanese beef. In 2006 Yakiniku Jumbo Shirokane opened its doors, and a few years later in 2010 Yakiniku Jumbo Hongo was opened, and a few years later in 2013 Yakiniku Jumbo Hanare was opened.
